Tim joined Verve Communications in 2006 from Bell Pottinger Public Affairs where over a five year period he helped it become one of the UK's leading consultancies. He has nearly twenty years' experience in public relations and public affairs spanning local and national government, business and the voluntary sector. As well as his consultancy experience, Tim has worked for Turner Broadcasting, home of the CNN news channel, and as Public Relations Manager of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He is a former Government Special Adviser at the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Tim served two terms as a councillor in the London Borough of Camden. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
