Member Development

Member Consultation

Dear Member

The LRIP Member Development Programme is all about helping members develop their skills and experience from each other and from our team of experienced consultants. We’ve worked with councillors in authorities right across United Kingdom and so we’re delighted to have been asked to work with Leicestershire & Rutland members too.

We’ll be running a series of workshops over the coming months, plus we’ve developed a range of content we think will be helpful to you on this web site. As well as accessing our content, we also hope you’ll use the site to share experiences and helpful hints with each other using the online Forum.

But before we develop the programme for LRIP programme for the next 12 months we want hear from you.

After all, it’s your programme so we want to know what topics or skills you’d like us to include in the programme. It can be anything you think will help you better fulfil your role as a local elected representative.

So why not take a few minutes to complete the simple form below and help us to develop the right programme for you.
